COVID-19 news
9:03: More cancellations have occurred due to the pandemic, as EVO and Otakon aren’t happening this year. More shows (Black Clover, Digimon Adventure, One Piece to name a few) have been delayed. Millionaire Detective is aiming to come back July 16 so there is one work looking to resume soon. However, some shows that were planned to air this year just won’t. One of them is The Promised Neverland S2. (And we’ll bring up the other show that got pushed back to next year this week in the next podcast episode.)

12:29: Kodansha once again proves if a title goes from digital to print, there’s a high chance it’s getting an anime. Heaven’s Design Team now joins that list.
14:21: Sunrise is starting an animation school that will begin next year. Neat idea that hopefully can help grow the anime industry.

25:33: Discotek took part in Anime Lockdown and made some announcements that impressed everybody:

- The S-CRY-ED announcement actually made Justin realize Sentai released only The Big O out of all the Bandai titles they picked up…in 2013. And with Discotek getting S-CRY-ED, that…might tell you about the fate of those other shows.
- Also at Anime Lockdown, Rightstuf announced a big Gundam Build Fighters Special Collection that’ll put together a couple of those series together.
Streaming News
33:10: Dorohedoro is finally going to be airing for everyone else on Netflix’s streaming service at the end of the month.
33:43: And while it was delayed due to COVID-19, A Whisker Away will premiere exclusively on Netflix June 18.
Weird News
34:55: Justin talks about Battle of the Planets getting a Hollywood film (Had no idea). Needless to say, there’s much doubt. Much doubt!
