Big News Roundup
5:01: A bunch of Sailor Moon news occurred, from a film announcement to the manga getting released digitally worldwide.
7:15: Promare will also be screening at Otakon. The hosts assume the room for it will be big enough.
9:20: So there’s been a lot of concern over the working conditions of Madhouse over the past couple months…and it doesn’t sound like it’s been improving in any way.
11:35: Dark Horse announced on Crunchyroll that they will be reprinting What’s Michael, which has cats dancing on top of roofs.
13:13: Cross Infinite World licensed The Werewolf Count and the Trickster Tailor. This turns out to be the second biggest news of the past few weeks for CIW, since they announced they’re releasing titles in print.
17:30: Streaming news! Symphogear‘s 4th season is finally on Crunchyroll (making Helen happy), Funimation is streaming Astra Lost in Space (which Helen did a complete review of) and Sentai licensed O Maidens in Your Savage Season, which means it’ll stream on HIDIVE.
Spring Anime Season Takes
20:15: Justin and Helen pretty much put a bow on the anime they watched over the spring season, starting with Senryu Girl, Fairy Gone, and Isekai Quartet to stuff like Fruits Basket and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, to name a few. Let’s just say one of the hosts reveals a particular thing they like (which conversely reveals why they’re watching said show). Also Justin failed to actually watch the last episodes of most of the shows he watched, including Sarazanmai.

49:26: Helen explains how weird it is that there’s no one smoking in the Fruits Basket reboot; Justin once again wonders what Hideaki Sorachi’s thinking; He’s also wondering how a virtual YouTuber gets poop sent to them; and finally, Helen’s shocked, shocked that her review led to Interspecies Reviewers getting an anime both hosts are really surprised Interspecies Reviewers is getting an anime.
