23:21: The Love Live! Sunshine Aquors group and Kanako Ito from Steins;Gate is performing at that big convention in Los Angeles over the summer.
24:46: FUNimation filled their open GM position by hiring Colin Decker, who once worked for Crunchyroll.
25:11: ufotable’s President resigned, which makes sense considering they might have been avoiding paying their taxes.
26:25: Eternal rivals Sony and Microsoft…are forming a partnership???
27:11: We can officially say Detective Pikachu is the best videogame film, at least based on its debut numbers.
Licensing News
28:06: Sentai Filmworks is dubbing Domestic Girlfriend, and they’re gonna release the Uta no Prince Sama film in theaters, with it premiering at Anime Expo.
29:13: Eleven Arts is bringing over the Sound Euphonium film this summer! This only serves to remind Justin to watch S2…and Liz and the Blue Bird eventually.
30:02: Crunchyroll’s already announcing what titles they’re streaming this summer (except one): to the abandoned Sacred Beasts, Are You Lost?, Magical Sempai, Hakata Mentai! Pirikarako-chan, & In/Spectre (the one that’s not streaming this summer).

33:06: Funimation added the dub of Bungo Stray Dogs season 3 to its service not too long ago.

35:56: Let’s say the Pokemon craze has jump the shark, mainly because of the following news items:
- Geodude is now an ambassador somewhere out there.
- Apparently Mr. Mime is so bizarre not even The Pokemon Company knows who he is.
- Stanford researchers identified that those who played Pokemon as a child have a region in their brain that responds preferentially to a Pokemon.
39:14: You’d think a classic franchise would avoid being isekai’d, but well, for Black Jack, you’d be wrong!
40:27: We’re a year away from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and already people are sharing their bizarre things to do with gunpla.
42:03: What does one do with AKB48 and HKT48 CDs? Well, apparently you’ll find them in a lot of places in Fukouka City!…And we mean a lot.
