0:00: Justin and Helen once again discuss what they’ve been up to over the past few weeks. It might involve a new work from the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! and a spin-off film of the Sound Euphonium series.
News
6:55: Stan Lee passed away, and Justin and Helen get into his impact on pop culture in general, which also includes the anime and manga he’s played a part in.
8:41: So yeah, pretty much any title from FUNimation that was on Crunchyroll is now gone. And certain Crunchyroll titles that were dubbed and streamed on FUNimation are also gone. Shame everyone (and we probably should’ve saw this coming) learned this the day of, even with CR’s partial list.
10:56: Fire Force is getting an anime! None of the hosts are sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
12:14: Dorohedoro is getting an anime too! The hosts are also not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing especially since the manga is actually finished…
14:30: Netflix announced they’re going to stream 5 new animated titles: Cagaster of an Insect Cage, Yasuke, Altered Carbon, Pacific Rim, and Trese.
18:38: Finally, the Umineko Gold Edition Kickstarter has been delayed.
Licenses (before Anime NYC)
20:20: Shout! Factory, and teaming up with GKIDS, will release Lu Over the Wall in BD/DVD format February 5. However, as big as the Lu announcement was, the Perfect Blue announcement was bigger. Probably because GKIDS has denied it.

22:15: Justin gives a general summary of his Anime NYC experience, which may or may not include the crazy Yen Press panel (in terms of licenses and the heated Q&A), the Saturday of much, much busyness, and the con’s growth from Year 1 to Year 2.
Also Helen asked which pit was better to jump in: the Slime pit or the Bananya pit. You’ll have to listen to find out!

Also apparently Index could’ve been rebooted…?
